浙江大学医学院附属第二医院泌尿外科始建于1998年，现有核定床位52张，医、护、技人数共34人，具有正高职称2人、副高职称4人、中级职称8人、初级职称2人；博士5人；硕士8人。学科规模在浙江省泌尿外科界屈指可数。
　　建科伊始，在学科带头人杜传军主任带领下，全科以泌尿外科内窥镜手术技术应用为突破口，先后开展了经尿道前列腺电切、输尿管镜下气压弹道碎石、经皮肾镜碎石和各类腹腔镜手术近十年。目前内腔镜手术占我科全部手术的比率已高达 70% 左右，且手术成功率均居我省前茅。
2001 年，我科在国内率先成功开展经尿道钬激光前列腺剜除术，迄今已成功实施该手术600余例，为全国之最。利用钬激光切割组织出血少、碎石效率高的特点，将其广泛应用于输尿管镜、经皮肾镜肾结石碎石、腹腔镜下组织切开、肿瘤切除等各类内窥镜手术，在国内泌尿外科界反响巨大。近年来杜传军主任先后被邀请去国内著名的大医院做此类手术演示，全国各地前来观摩的泌尿外科医生络绎不绝，标志着我科内窥镜技术已位居国内先进行列。
　　我科还开展了包括前列腺癌根治术、扩大肾癌根治术、全膀胱切除原位膀胱术、肾移植、阴茎假体植入等在内的泌尿外科高难度手术。并在省内率先进行了前列腺癌近距离放射治疗。我科所取得的临床工作成就，已使浙二医院品牌在泌尿外科领域深入人心。
　　现阶段我科正着手引进国际一流、具备数控技术的泌尿外科专用检查床以及体外冲击波碎石机、电子膀胱镜等大型设备。一个设备完善、技术先进、人员队伍整齐的浙江省腔内泌尿外科中心正在崛起！

　　The Department of urology in Second Affiliated hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine was initially founded in 1998. Currently the department has more than 52 patient beds. Its staff consists of 34 physicians, nurses and technicians, including 2 professors, 4 associate professors and 8 attending doctors, of whom 5 are MD, Ph.D. It is one of the leading urological centers in Zhejiang Province.
　　Ever since its establishment, lead by Professor Chuanjun Du, the department focused its effort on the application of endo-urology techniques. Transuretheral resection of prostate, ureteroscopic peumatic lithotripsy, percutaneous nepheroscopic lithotripsy and various laparoscopic surgeries have been widely applied for about 10 years. The ratio of endo-surgery has reached about 70%, the successful rate is leading in Zhejiang province.?
　　In 2001, Holmium laser enucleation of prostate was introduced in our department. More than 600 cases have been performed since then, which is the highest number in China. Holmium laser has also been used in ureteroscopic and nepheroscopic and laparoscopic surgery for its outstanding efficiency in cutting and coagulation. The holmium laser techniques have had a significant impact in urological field. Professor Du has been invited to demonstrate this operation all over China.
　　In addition to endo-urological surgery, radical prostatectomy, extended radical nephrectomy, radical cystectomy, renal transplantation and implantation of penile prosthesis have also been carried out in our department. Brachytherapy of localized prostate cancer was also introduced to Zhejiang province. Our recent achievement has had deep impact in the urological field in Zhejiang Province.
Our current effort focused on the introduction of more hi-tech equipment and its application. Our near future goal is to create a modern urology center with outstanding staff members and advanced equipment.
